About West County Women's Club

Founded in 1990, and located in St. Louis County, MO, the West County Junior Women’s Club is affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the world’s largest and oldest volunteer organization with more than 10 million members worldwide.

Our primary club goal is to bring together a group of women interested in improving their community. We strive to expand our members’ personal development through educational and creative topics led by notable speakers at our monthly club meetings.  Our members serve our community through volunteer-related activities as well as efforts to raise funds to contribute to local charities and/or organizations.  We foster friendships with clubwomen and their families.  Social events are held periodically throughout the year for both members and member families.

Meetings are held beginning at 7 PM on the second Monday of the month from September to May.  These meetings are typically held at the West County Fire House on Henry Road, just north of Manchester Road.  Google Map of Meeting Location

West County Junior Women's Club is involved in various fund raising activities.  In February, 2007 some members volunteered to deliver Valentine Day flowers, donating the fee to the club's fundraising effort.  In May, 2007 the club held a very successful auction and raffle at the Woods Mill Racket Club.

There are no set time commitments or work requirements for the club. Everybody is welcome to commit as little or as much time as they feel suits their busy schedules. Women who are mainly interested in the educational and social aspect of the club are welcome as well. There is no mandatory attendance for meetings or events. Due to the smaller size of the club, you will truly be able to know everyone in the club.
