The West County Women’s Club (WCWC) is an organization of St. Louis, Missouri, area women who give their time and talents to improve the quality of life where they live through service to others. The six areas of focus are: Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, Public Affairs and International Affairs. The WCWC participates in various fundraising activities.

One of the prime beneficiaries of the club’s fundraising efforts is Missouri Girls Town www.mogirlstown.org. Missouri Girls Town is operated by the Missouri Girls Town Foundation, Inc., a private 501 (c) (3) nonprofit founded in 1953 by the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Missouri. The organization has built a program of parenting and counseling that fits the needs of teenage girls traumatized by abuse and neglect. It provides a continuum of care that ranges from outpatient assessment and counseling for family and children to a residential system that provides year-round care for children of preadolescent ages through high school graduation. Missouri Girls Town is situated on 20 beautiful acres near Kingdom City, Missouri.

The General Federation of Women's Clubs is the world's largest and oldest volunteer organization with over 10 million members worldwide. The Missouri Federation, of which the WCWC is a member, is comprised of over 7,000 club members of all ages, interests and experience. This affiliation with the state and national federations helps support efforts on a local level as well as across the state and country.
